Bill Lyons (Lyons)
Greetings Fellow HHS 71ers,
First I want to say thanks to all of those that made the 50th reunion so special. I LOVED EVERY MINUTE! My only regret is that since I hadn't seen so many since we graduated, I only got to talk (I mean really talk) to about 50% of those I wanted. So, with that in mind, if I didn't get a chance to talk to you and you wanted to talk to me, then join my party. No, you don't have to come to Nashville, TN (although you could if you wanted to. We have an extra bedroom). I hold what I call a "Time Zone Call Party" It was created back in the 80s (before cell phones made long distance calls so cheap). Since most of my friends were musicians (I graduated from the Berklee College of Music in '83) and musicians had no money, I needed to find a way that we could wish each other a Merry Christmas "CHEAPLY!" I came up with the idea of assigning everyone on my list a "10-minute time interval beginning at 9am. If you called during your alloted time and let it ring once it would cost you no money AND I would know it was you since I had given you the time to call. If interested, go to my website, http://TimeZoneCallParty.itgo.com.
It has worked out quite nicely over the years. Sometimes it is the only time I get to talk to my friends that are in my heart and on my mind even if we only speak once a year...AT least we do!
Please join me on the first Saturday in December. This year that will be Saturday, December 4, 2021. The schedule is supposed to be posted Monday, November 1, 2021. Even if you miss the deadline, if you'd like to be included (and I would love it if you are), send me a text to 559-426-6726. (That number spells 559- I AM-ORANGE. And yeah, it really works) Or you can send an email to one of my "many" emails, OrangemanAAFP@Yahoo.com.
I miss you. I love you and I hope I get to hear from you!. Enjoy the blessings of the day!
Bill "ORANGE" Lyons
